Hey all,
So Westview Fitness will begin again on Tuesday September 8th, 2020, BOTH on Zoom and for those who wish IN PERSON!!!

Tuesday and Thursday - CHANGE OF TIME - 7pm to 8pm.

On Zoom, IT'S FREE!!!!- it will be the same as the spring - We will send the link out next week and just like the spring you can join on Zoom to do the class at home. This will be free and continue until December 10th, 2020. The WIFI has been improved so the quality is much better than in the first few classes in the spring!

In person, IT'S $20.00 - For the months of September and October we will be doing the fitness class outdoors, live in the CHURCH PARKING LOT as well as on Zoom!.

There are a number of important things you need to know!

1. You will need to access the church PARKING LOT from Pierrefonds Boulevard (no exceptions!!) and park either on the east side of the church or behind on the north side. The car park on the other side (St Charles) will be roped off and only authoriZed vehicles will be allowed.
2. There will be circles of 1.5m painted all over the PARKING LOT each one will be 2 meters away from the next. Please go directly to a circle and then for the duration of the class stay in that circle!

3. You MUST wear a mask at all times EXCEPT when you are in your circle. From the car to the circle before the class and from the circle to the car after class.
4. There will be no access to toilets. sorry!
5. If you are talking to anyone you must wear your mask and keep 2 metres away.

6. The cost of the live class is $20 for the two months (September /October) Whether you come once or twice a week or all or some of the classes the cost is $20! We want to keep the interaction between people to a minimum so if you are able please send me an e-transfer to (no security question is necessary) If you are not able to do e-transfer then please bring $20 in an envelope with your name (no change available) or a cheque made out to "Westview Bible Church".
7. You will need to bring your own weights, mat and elastic (if wanted)
8. Bring your own water.
9. We will be working out outside and so as the weeks roll by it may get colder and possibly,
occasionally wetter! The class will go on in all weather, hot /cold/ wind/ rain/ snow.... The
only time I will cancel will be if there is thunder and lightning!!!! So dress appropriately!
10. Finally, as we continue through the fall the light in the evening will start to fade, so please be aware that although there are lights in the carpark, we will be working out in lower light!! It is because of this that the time of the class is 30 minutes earlier!

SO, if all this has not put you off!!!!, if you are tired of being inside and want to come out and join the class in person, I would love to see you!
Please send me the e-transfer for $20 or send me an email to say you are planning on coming (and you will bring the money)!

Everyone as usual needs to print out the par-q form and bring it with them!

Thank you so much
See you on zoom or in person

Westview Fitness has been offering to the local community a high-quality, low-cost, fitness class for 27 years. It encourages members of Westview and others to bring non-churched participants into the class, offering a safe place to get fit and to find out more about Westview and Christianity.

The class is held on Tuesday and Thursday from September to June, 7:30 to 8:40 in the Gym. It consists of a 5-7 minute warm up, 20-30 minutes of cardio or interval training, 20 minutes of muscular conditioning, a cool down and a 5 minute devotion talk. There are typically between 60-100 people present at each class.
It is taught by Kim Brewster-Neelin who is certified by the YMCA, as well as current on CPR training.

It is open to men and women all ages, from age 13 and up - beginners and advanced. Although the aerobic routine is low/medium impact, instructions are given for those who wish to make it high impact. The cost is $30.00 for each one of the three terms -  fall, winter and spring.  The money is used for fitness equipment, music, books, bibles and other material as well as paying for CPR training for the instructor and current certification each year. Running shoes must be worn.  Fitness has always had a policy that no one should be refused because of cost, so the fees are sometimes waived at the discretion of the committee.
