With a nearly 30 year old building; repairs, replacement needs and restoration become a reality and necessity. In order to restore various aspects of our building; for the purpose of having an effective, well-stewarded facility for what the Lord wants to do in and through Westview in the years ahead, we have committed as a church to this Building Restoration project.
Together we are rallying around many of our immediate building needs and pursuing their completion in the months ahead. As a result, we need to build up some extra funds to address these urgent needs. So as a church family, let's all partner together. Together, we can raise funds that are over and above our normal operating budget. Together, we can dig a little deeper to see these restorative building needs met. Will you pray about this and see if God leads you, to give an extra gift directed towards this effort? As the funds come in for this designated project, we are gradually getting the necessary renovations and upgrades done.
Our target to raise to cover the total restoration needs is: $300,000
To date we’ve raised: $133,000
To date we’ve spent: $120,000
This spending has enabled the following to be accomplished:
- New Carpets in the Lobby, Hallways, and two rooms
- New Heat Pumps
- New Sanctuary Projector, Screen, Sound System
- New Gym and Hallway Lighting Fixtures
- Hallways and Lobby Painted
- New Hot Water Tanks
- New Bathroom Sinks & Toilets
- Updated Fire Safety Equipment
Our next items of the remaining list to be done, include:
- Parking lot gravel
- Kitchen cabinets replaced
- Kitchen floor replaced
- Painting of the Gym.
This is an ongoing project, dependant upon our financial support. We still have $167,000 to raise. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of how you, as part of the Westview church family, would contribute towards this need. You can make a one-time donation, or multiple donations spread out over time. Kindly label any donations for the building fund by writing "RESTORATIVE BUILDING FUND" on your cheque or envelope.
